Kareem is a Principal on the investment team at Felicis Ventures.
Previously, he was on the investment team at Thomvest Ventures. While at Thomvest, Kareem was actively involved in making investments in Avalanche Technology, Baffle, Bolster, Clari, Cylance (acquired by Blackberry for $1.4B), Lastline (acquired by VMware), ShieldX, ShiftLeft, Skyhigh Networks (acquired by McAfee), Tactus Technology, and ThousandEyes (acquired by Cisco).
Prior to Thomvest, Kareem was on the technology investment banking team at Deutsche Bank. There, he advised a variety of tech clients on equity and debt financings as well as M&A transactions, including most notably Dell’s $67B merger with EMC, the largest technology M&A deal in history.
Additionally, Kareem is a member of UCLA Ventures and also sits on the Young Executive Board of iMentor, a nonprofit that partners with high schools in low-income communities to help students graduate high school, enroll in college, and achieve their ambitions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from UCLA, where he graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
