What experience shaped your worldview?

I grew up in Long Island, but I traveled around the world for tennis beginning at a young age. When I went to play tennis at Tulane University, I struggled a lot during my freshman year. I didn't know if I was going to be good enough to stay on the team. But my senior year I was voted captain by my teammates and coaches, and that showed me that you always turn a situation around and improve

How do you support founders?

I see my role on the founder success team as making founders' lives easier and generating ROI. I help with recruiting, go-to-market, benchmarking, and market research through data, financial modeling, expert networks, and custom sourcing.

What’s something unconventional that you believe?

That everything’s going to work out. I'm a hopeful optimist and a cautious pessimist. But my parents instilled in me three values: work hard, treat people the right way, and take care of yourself. To this day, I believe that when those three values show up, everything works out."

How do you recharge?

A long run, to me, is therapeutic. And, being in New York, I really like taking an hour or two to walk around with some headphones in.

What’s something recent that you’ve learned?

You don’t have to win every argument. Sometimes you can come to a conclusion without winning. When you stop framing things as right or wrong or as winning or losing, you end up making your life a lot easier.
